The FINANCIAL — Prada strengthens its presence in Paris with the opening of a new space at the third floor of Galeries Lafayette.
The renovation project, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, covers a total area of 75 square metres, all in one space, where the men’s ready-to-wear collection and a special section dedicated to leather goods are displayed, according to Prada.
A succession of brown Saint Laurent marble-clad pillars sets the rhythm of the façade; a display counter devoted to the ready-to-wear collection is located at the entrance, welcoming customers and offering a glimpse of the interior.
The interior is defined by slim Saint Laurent marble floorboards and by walls with orange encaustic painting, creating an elegant atmosphere. Precious black metal and crystal display cases and counters complete the furnishing.
