The FINANCIAL — President Victor Yushchenko held a weekly meeting on February 11 with Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk, according to the President`s press-office.
The meeting was dedicated to discussing implementation of the decisions made at the last weekly meeting and future President’s visit to Russian Federation.
Speaking about last meeting decisions implementation V. Yushchenko approved withdrawal from consideration by Cabinet of Ministers of the Draft Law “On introducing amendments to some legislative acts regarding privatization” during Cabinet’s meeting of February 6th. He however noted that there is still no sign of the Democratic Coalition withdrawal of a draft resolution of the Verkhovna Rada on appointing members of “State Savings Bank of Ukraine” and “Ukreximbank” supervisory boards as it had been decided last week. There is also a decision on regulating the situation at Zaporizhzhyan Aluminum Factory should be made during nearest Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
The President also put for discussion a number of questions which shall be a subject of talks during his visit to Russian federation. One of the issues, which will according to V. Yushchenko surely be discussed during his visit to Moscow, is relations in gas area.
