The FINANCIAL — The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has discussed the prospects for strengthening Georgia-US bilateral relations, security challenges in the region and Georgia’s NATO integration process at the meeting with the Senator Richard Durbin in Washington.
The meeting focused on Russia’s aggressive policy, the contemporary hybrid war and the importance of united support from Georgia’s partners and allies. President Margvelashvili has brief Mr. Durbin on the current environment in the occupied territories of Georgia and highlighted the recent death of Archil Tatunashvili.
As President Margvelashvili pointed out, Georgia spares no efforts to become a member of NATO and the EU. The country determined its European course centuries ago, according to the Administration of the President of Georgia.
