The FINANCIAL — The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has held a meeting with the Chairman of the Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia (Majlis Ash-Shura), Dr. Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh, as part of his official visit to Georgia.
Conversation at the meeting touched upon the intensification of bilateral and sectoral cooperation between Georgia and Saudi Arabia and advancing trade-economic cooperation. Dr. Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh has shown interest in Georgia’s investment potential and current business environment, according to the Administration of the President of Georgia.
As noted, Georgia has a huge investment potential and its usage is of utmost importance for the development of the country’s economy.
President Margvelashvili has thanked the visitor for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, the UN resolution on IDPs, and non-recognition policy of the occupied territories. He has briefed Dr. Abdullah ibn Muhammad Al ash-Sheikh on the current environment and challenges in the occupied territories.
