The FINANCIAL — The President of Georgia, H.E. Giorgi Margvelashvili has held a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Mr. Raşit Meredow, as a part of his official visit to Georgia.
At the meeting, the parties have discussed the prospects of developing bilateral relations in the areas of trade, economics and energy, as well as the Lapis Lazuli Railroad and the Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline projects and cooperation between the Caspian and the Black Sea regions, according to the Administration of the President of Georgia.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Palace, has also been attended by the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Abashishvili, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia, Mr. Davit Rakviashvili, the Advisor to the President of Georgia for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tengiz Pkhaladze and the Political Secretary of the President of Georgia, Ms. Pikria Chikhradze.
