The FINANCIAL — PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon said he was deeply shocked by the terrorist attack against a bus on Monday in Volgograd, which killed six people and wounded many others, according to Parliamentary Assembley.
“I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims and injured, as well as to the Russian authorities,” he said.
"I strongly condemn these acts of extreme violence, which are contrary to the values and principles of the Council of Europe. The Russian Federation can count on the full support of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in the defence of its democratic institutions against any terrorist act,” he added.
