The FINANCIAL — President Viktor Yanukovych is inviting German Federal President Christian Wulff to come to Ukraine on visit at a time convenient to him, reads a statement made by the presidential press service.
Yanukovych has recalled a recent meeting in Berlin during his visit to Germany and expressed confidence that realisation of the agreements reached will serve to further strengthening of the political dialogue, will give an impetus to intensification of trade-economic relations, and will help deepening cooperation in other spheres of bilateral partnership.
"Would be glad to continue our meaningful dialogue on the hospitable Ukrainian land," the statement quotes Yanukovych as saying.
The head of state, on behalf of Ukrainians and him personally, congratulated his German counterpart on the Day of German Unity.
Yanukovych wishes Wulff good health and success in the state activity of responsibility, and peace, welfare and prosperity to the amicable German nation.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Yanukovych travelled to Germany on visit on August 30.
