The FINANCIAL — Kennedy, one of the leading consulting research and advisory firms, has rated PwC as a Kennedy Vanguard Leader in Life Sciences Supply Chain (SC) Technology-Enabled and Digital Initiatives in a new report.

In the report, Kennedy states that “through data visualisation across activities, PwC provides clear insight into cost, service level and risk balancing across SC decisions. The firm’s focus on next-generation supply chains spans digital and mobile enablement helps clients prepare for “digital ecosystems” supported by tech-enabled risk, regulatory and financial offerings across the LS supply chain.”

Juan Pujadas, Global Advisory Chairman, said “We are proud to have been recognised as a Kennedy Vanguard leader.  We have committed to growing our analytics practice and this recognition reflects that PwC is in a unique position to assist clients with their life sciences supply chain consulting needs globally.”

PwC is one of only four firms to have attained Kennedy Vanguard status.  Kennedy Vanguard firms are those which demonstrate either market-leading depth in particular capabilities or meaningful depth across a broad spectrum of capabilities.

Doug Strang, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Advisory Leader, said “We are pleased to have been rated by Kennedy as an ‘advancing Vanguard,’ with great breadth of capabilities in supply chain technology consulting to the PLS sector.”

Wayne McDonnell, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Supply Chain Advisory Principal, said “This recognition shows that PwC’s investment in enabling technologies and analytics sets us apart and is paying off for our clients. We are uniquely positioned to best assist clients beyond manufacturing to across the entire supply chain end-to-end.  We help our clients with both design of new processes and the implementation of those processes enabled by the best-fit technologies. One great example is our Operational Effectiveness Index program.  Through data visualisations, we can provide the C-suite and supply chain managers alike with clear, analytics-driven insights into cost, service level and risk as they make supply chain decisions.”
