The FINANCIAL — Polite and hospitable staff, a good, varied breakfast, cosy and spacious rooms, amazing swimming pool and spa complex – all these and much more combine to create a great location for guests of the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel and Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi. Trying to meet every demand of its guests is what made Radisson Blu win the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards for Hotels in Georgia. The management of Radisson Blu considers positive feedback to be a huge motivation for its employees.
The 14th edition of TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards ranked Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi first and Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel third best hotels in Georgia, out of ten.
Millions of reviews and opinions collected over a one-year period are used to create each Travellers’ Choice list.

Tatiana Bilichenko from Kiev, Ukraine, stayed at Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi in November 2015. She was accompanied by her friends. “The view from the 19th floor of the Radisson Blu hotel is amazing. The service is of high class by all means! It concerns not just the dining room. Nice music, lighting and artwork create a feeling of comfort, relaxation and romance. The amazing view and friendly staff make you feel comfortable and happy,” Bilichenko is a member of the TripAdvisor community who shared her experience on the web.
For Karl from Dresden, Germany, Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi is the “best hotel on the Black Sea coast”. According to Karl, it is a great hotel, there are excellent rooms with terrific views, very friendly staff, and despite the hotel’s size, there is still a very cosy atmosphere. “Suitable both for business trips and vacations. Stayed there a couple of times and will definitely go back,” said Karl.
“We congratulate the properties that have won Travellers’ Choice Hotel awards,” said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor. “As travellers consider where to book their next trip, they should be sure to check out these award-winners that have already delighted millions of members of the TripAdvisor community.”
If you ask Sarkhan from Baku, Azerbaijan, which is “the best place for staying in Tbilisi,” he will definitely recommend the Radisson Blu Iveria, Tbilisi. In his words: “Everything about this hotel is absolutely perfect. Excellent service all the way from the receptionists to the servers in the restaurant. The views were amazing and so was the location.”
“I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Tbilisi,” he added.
Katushka from Brussels, Belgium, visited Tbilisi last year for the first time in 17 years, after she used to be a regular visitor. “What a change! The whole city was transformed, and above all, the Iveria hotel which had turned from a refugee/internally displaced hostel into a swanky Radisson Blu. I stayed only two nights, and did not have much time to spend in the hotel as such. The rooms and other hotel amenities are great, which is standard for Radissons. You should not be disappointed.”
“The staff were great; the bellboy did not accept a tip for bringing my suitcase to the room! (I think that was my first worldwide) But the really surprising part came from visiting the two top floors of the hotel — a sprawling spa, with a nice size pool, sauna and treatment rooms, all with glass walls and incredible views of the city. It is really an experience worth budgeting your time for if you stay there. And the opening hours are very generous (something like 6am to 10 or 11pm if I am not mistaken). I came with a nasty neck pain and booked a massage. And the therapist was truly one of the best I have had; practically a chiropractor. After two sessions I told her I wanted her to emigrate to Belgium, where I live. Joking aside, the location of this hotel is perfect, just at the beginning (or rather end of Rustaveli, the main street), close to everything, which is a real bonus, given the worsening of Tbilisi’s traffic jams. And the spa is a great bonus!” said Katushka.
