The FINANCIAL — On February 6 Raiffeisen Bank Aval has signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development about joining the Ukraine Residential Energy Efficiency Financing Facility (IQ energy).
The given program has been implemented at the support of the Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).

Eligible borrowers under the programme will be able to receive loans for a wide range of energy efficiency measures. These may include: insulation of walls, roofs and ground floors; installation of modern energy-efficient windows, heat supply system upgrades; installation of solar thermal systems and many others.
“Raiffeisen Bank Aval’s joining the IQ energy program will help our clients to improve their housing and to reduce their utility bills, stated Robert Kossmann, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Aval. “For the next years, we plan to give loans totaled over UAH 150 million within the framework of this program. Our clients will be able to take part in the program by means of using a credit card issued by Raiffeisen Bank Aval or through opening a cash loan in the bank’s closest branch”, he added.
