The FINANCIAL — Regular exchange sales within frames of the public purchasing interventions on the grain market of Russia will be held on the National Mercantile Exchange on December 6, 2011.
Grain volumes from Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk and Orenburg oblasts of the Russian Federation to take part in exchange trading.
As a reminder, in the first exchange sales on November 29 the Government purchased 83.7 thsd tonnes of grains from agrarians at the sum of 379.532 mln RUR. In particular, the intervention fund purchased 60.615 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat and 23.085 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat.
According to Elena Skrynnik, head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, within frames of the intervention the Government plans to purchase 1.5 mln tonnes of grains.
