The FINANCIAL — On December 17-18 RLA Grant is delivering lectures on all stages of trial practice and the requisite skills, including: how to select a jury, how to conduct witness examinations, and make persuasive arguments, according to Embassy of the United States Georgia.
Georgian prosecutors from four regions – Samegrelo, Imereti, Shida Kartli and Kakheti – are participating. Michael Grant is assisted by Shota Rizhamadze, a Georgian prosecutor and an in-house trainer from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The training focuses on building practical trial skills. This training will continue throughout Georgia and help prosecutors master trial skills and improve their ability of working in the adversarial criminal justice system.
