The FINANCIAL — Russia's oil export duty may rise 9.1% to $346 per ton from the current $317.5 from February 1, while export duty on East Siberian and North Caspian oil may rise to $137.6 per ton from the current $117.5, according to the Finance Ministry and an official formula to calculate the export duty.
"The average monitoring price amounted to $91.901 per barrel from December 15 to January 14, and the maximum duty may stand at $346.645 per ton," the ministry's Alexander Sakovich told RIA Novosti on January 17.
According to a new formula, light oil duty may rise to $232.2 per ton from the current $226.2 per ton, and dark oil duty to $161.8 from the $121.9 set on January 1.
