The FINANCIAL — With Perceptive Software, Samsung is now able to equip its multifunction printer (MFP) customers with secure access to content using Perceptive Software’s enterprise content management software, Perceptive Content, according to SAMSUNG.
Samsung MFP customers in a number of industries will now be able to easily manage the entire lifecycle of their documents and information, and even gain access from mobile devices.
“This is an important partnership for Samsung as it provides enterprise customers with secure, instant access to valuable content, regardless of the format, through its entire lifecycle,” said Tod Pike, Senior Vice President, Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division. “At Samsung, we are committed to providing the best products and services and building strong partnerships with solution providers like Perceptive Software who understand our customers’ needs,” he added.
Samsung developed a connector that allows users to integrate Perceptive Content directly into their MFPs through Samsung’s eXtensible Open Architecutre (XOA) platform. A great fit for higher education, healthcare and retail audiences, users are able to put documents in workflows to allow people to work and access from their mobile phones and PCs, according to SAMSUNG.
Access to Perceptive Software’s Perceptive Content is available to customers that have Samsung MFP devices. All Samsung MFPs can be found at select Samsung resellers and channel partners.
