The FINANCIAL — Samsung Electronics America announced an update to its LYNK REACH (Remote Enhanced Active Control for Hospitality) software and hardware solution. Featuring a new, fully customizable user interface, Samsung LYNK REACH 3.0 provides hoteliers with a more cost-effective and efficient solution for managing, delivering and maintaining guestroom TV content from a single location, according to Samsung.
“Samsung offers a technology portfolio that delivers the scalability and accessibility hoteliers need to meet the growing expectations of today’s tech-savvy traveler, while keeping operating and maintenance costs down,” said Jonas Tanenbaum, vice president of hospitality at Samsung Electronics America. “With Samsung LYNK REACH 3.0, we are making it possible to offer in-room content for guests that is both entertaining, informative and easily integrated into a hotel’s existing infrastructure, improving operating efficiency and reducing the total cost of ownership,” Tanenbaum added.
Available on all Samsung Hospitality TV models, LYNK REACH 3.0 can be used to seamlessly broadcast branded content, hotel information through an Interactive Program Guide (IPG), while also managing a TV’s software settings, firmware and clone version from a central location. Its compatibility with existing coaxial-based infrastructure enables properties to achieve lower labor and operating costs, according to Samsung.
