The FINANCIAL — SAS is returning to Örnsköldsvik! Beginning April 8 next year, the airline will launch a new route from Stockholm Arlanda with four daily departures in each direction.
“This is really welcome,” said Robert Gyllroth, airport director at Örnsköldsvik Airport on the Swedish radio channel P4 Västernorrland.
After a break of nearly ten years, SAS is now returning to Örnsköldsvik. The carrier stopped serving the airport in December 2008 due to poor profitability.
Initially there will be four daily departures in each direction, that is, a total of eight departures between Stockholm Arlanda and Örnsköldsvik Airport.
An ATR-72 model will serve the route, which debuts April 8, 2018, according to Stockholm Arlanda.
You can also fly to Örnsköldsvik from Stockholm Arlanda with Nextjet.
