The FINANCIAL — Russia's top lender Sberbank's net profit for the first nine months of 2010 soared more than 10 times year-on-year to 109.6 billion rubles ($3.51 billion) to IFRS, the bank said on December 6, according to RIA Novosti.
The bank's third quarter net profit rose 120 percent year-on-year to 45.29 billion rubles, having exceeded the record first quarter net profit of 43.5 billion rubles, the bank said in its financial report.
Sberbank's January-September net profit exceeded the 103.7 billion rubles forecast by analysts in a poll prepared by RIA Novosti.
