The FINANCIAL — According to Civil Georgia, General James Cartwright, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is paying visit to Georgia, the Georgian Defense Ministry said on March 30.
Gen. Cartwright, who is the second highest ranking military officer of the United States, will meet with President Saakashvili and Defense Minister, Davit Sikharulidze. He will also travel town of Gori, according to the Georgian MoD, and visit the Gori-based first infantry brigade and the first artillery brigade.
