The FINANCIAL — the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) officially launched its newest amenity on March 9, unveiling an Airport Butler concierge program.
This customizable service, the first of its kind in the United States, provides assistance for departing, arriving, and connecting passengers. From check-in assistance to personal shopping, Airport Butler offers a variety of services that can be tailored for any type of passenger, including travelers with small children, senior citizens, even travelers seeking language assistance while at SFO.
“We continue to elevate the airport guest experience at SFO, with amenities that allow passengers to customize their journey,” said Airport Director John L. Martin. “The Airport Butler service provides an exciting new option for travelers, offering a unique VIP experience that anyone can enjoy.”

Airport Butler services are available in multiple language, and include:
Direct assistance from gate to curb (arrivals) or curb to gate (departures)
Assistance with baggage and check-in process
Connecting flight support
Assistance during a flight delay or cancellation
Lounge reservations prior to flight
Ground transportation arrangements
Personal shopping at the airport
Meeting guests with flowers or customized gifts
Private meeting room arrangements
Business services including printing, copying and document translation
