SOCAR President receives delegation of ITRON Gas

The FINANCIAL — On June 11, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev received a delegation led by Marcel Regnier, President of ITRON Gas.

Welcoming the guests, SOCAR president stated that Baku will host the First European Games 2015 and expressed confidence in that guests would witness the sports holiday, according to SOCAR.

President of ITRON Gas Marcel Regnier highly appreciated the efforts of country in completion of the preparatory work of such a great event and pointed out the importance of the games. Afterwards, the guest noted the established cooperative relations between SOCAR’s “AzeriGas” Production Union (PU) and ITRON Gas, adding that this cooperation will contribute to the more efficient management of gas supply.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev spoke about successful cooperation with ITRON Gas which provides high-quality gas smart payment meters to “Azeri Gas” Production Union (PU) and measures taken towards the gas supply of the regions. Emphasizing the role of gas smart payment meters in curtailing the losses and resourceful consumption of gas, SOCAR President appreciated the role of ITRON Gas. According to Marcel Regnier, the 1 millionth gas smart payment meter of ITRON Gas was recently installed in Azerbaijan, and on this occasion, he presented one of such meters to Mr. Abdullayev. Congratulating the guests on this occasion, Mr. Abdullayev wished them every success.
