The FINANCIAL — The rumors are all over that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will break up, according to San Francisco Chronicle. The basis for them is an "exclusive" report by the Sunday, January 24th British tabloid News of the World. It claims that "Bradgelina" have hired divorce lawyers to split their $205 million wealth.
The tabloid also reported heartthrob Pitt, 46, and Oscar-winning Jolie, 34, agreed to equally share custody of their children, even though all six would live full-time with Jolie, Boston Herald reports. A source told News of the World both stars signed the document earlier this month.
“The contract was like a tailor-made version of a prenuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split,” the unidentified source told the tabloid. “It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children.”
The couple is not married but have three biological children together – daughter Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Jolie also has three adopted children – Maddox, Zahara and Pax – all of whom bear the surname Jolie-Pitt, according to the same source. Allegations about the power couple ending their five-year relationship reached critical mass last week when the National Enquirer reported Pitt staged a six-hour dinner at a New York restaurant earlier in the month as an intervention for Jolie to get psychiatric help for depression. Jolie reportedly has been suffering since her mother’s death from ovarian cancer three years ago, the New York Post said yesterday.
According to People.com the couple are not breaking up. It says sources close to the family have claimed "everything is fine" with the couple.
Celebrity TMZ.com, which broke news of Michael Jackson's death, is also steering clear of the story, as Sky News informs. It says that multiple people "directly connected with the couple" say they are not splitting up – with one source claiming "it's B.S".
The reason for the constant rumors of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's splitting up is that the two have heavy schedules that keep them on the road and apart, San Francisco Chronicle reports. According to People Magazine while Brad Pitt was in LA for the Hope for Haiti Telethon, Angelina Jolie was in New York city for a Vanity Fair photo shoot.
