The FINANCIAL — The Networks business of Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) has been awarded its fifth consecutive annual contract by Sprint to provide Intelligent Optimization Service (IOS) for its iDEN(R) network.
Since using Motorola's professional services, Sprint has improved the performance of its iDEN network and managed its available spectrum – both of which are key to delivering a high-quality service to its subscribers while minimizing operational costs and capital expenditures.

Motorola's IOS utilizes data-reporting features generated by the network and subscribers as they use their phones. Motorola's service virtually eliminates the need for manual resource intensive drive-testing.
