The FINANCIAL — Sweden’s GDP increased 0.4 percent in the first quarter of 2015, seasonally adjusted and compared to the fourth quarter of 2014. GDP increased 2.5 percent, working-day adjusted and compared to the first quarter of 2014, according to Nasdaq.
Household consumption expenditures increased by 0.1 percent seasonally adjusted and general government consumption expenditures increased by 0.1 percent seasonally adjusted and compared to the previous quarter. Inventories were unchanged compared to the previous quarter. Gross fixed capital formation decreased by 0.1 percent. Exports fell by 0.7 percent and imports by 1.5 percent. Market production of goods and services increased 0.5 percent, seasonally adjusted. Production of goods fell by 0.5 percent and service-producing industries rose by 1.0 percent. Employment measured as the total number of hours worked increased by 0.4 percent and the number of persons employed grew 0.5 percent seasonally adjusted.
Compared to the publication in February 2015, GDP growth seasonally adjusted has been revised upwards 0.1 percentage points in the first, second and third quarter of 2014 and revised downwards by 0.3 percentage points in the fourth quarter of 2014.
