The FINANCIAL — Redix, a development company, opened its first A-class business center called Tabidze 1 last week on Tavisupleba Avenue. Lasha Papashvili, General Director of Redix said Business center was financed by Bank Republic and EBRD. USD 3 million was allocated for 8 years credit for Tabidze 1 Business center.
“Tabidze 1 is the best combination of old and modern styles. Renovated business center preserves historical glamour of the city and adds modern elements in a nice manner,”Papashvili says.
“Tabidze 1, beneath of its impressive classical façade you will find modern offices developed accordingly to western standards. The center is a combination of historical, exotic and elegant architecture of Tbilisi and sophisticated technologies of the 21ts century,” Redix Officials note.
“For successful company it’s necessary to have a special environment, a prestigious fashionable office as a visit card of the company. Exclusive office space indicates and underlines the image and individuality of the company. Tabidze 1 can be distinguished for all these features,” Redix officials say.
The business center offers commercial space for rent. The center will host bank offices, company offices and retail shops of different brands.
The business center was reconstructed within the frame of the Tbilisi Municipality’s project, Old Tbilisi, New Life.
“Out project is not only intended to help renovate residential buildings. We as well support the rehabilitation and reconstruction of old Tbilisi and try to make it a multifunctional district,” Gigi Ugulava, Mayor of Tbilisi says.
All of the participants, architectures, designers and developers did their best not to lose the identity of Old Tbilisi and Tavisupleba square. This issue was a bit disputable, but today, I can see from the expressions of people how they like it. It’s the 3100 sq. m. commercial office space from which half is already for rent. Any of the countries capital would be proud of this kind of pretty building. There are all facilities for starting serious businesses in this office,” Papashvili said.
“While planning the business center all the details were foreseen, in this way, we received a cozy, Parisian style atmosphere and calm working environment. Sophisticated interior and dynamic combination of decorative elements on the façade keeps the characteristics and charm of the past centuries. A pedestrian street which is right next to the business center is full of branded shops, cafes and restaurants. All this makes it a fashionable business environment to work in,” Tabidze 1 Officials note.
“Our family was the owner of the first floor and cellar of this building from 1992. Life was not easy for us, we even had a fire here. We decided to think about privatization of upper two floors and then some area in the yard. It took almost 4 years to resettle the residents of this house.” Papashvili says.
“In 2008, during the August war, construction of this building was suspended for some time but from September we resumed the building process. We are financed by Bank Republic and EBRD. The credit of USD 3 million was allocated for 8 years. I am very content of this building and like it very much,” Papashvili says.
