The FINANCIAL — The Tata Motors group global wholesales in January 2016, including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 93,355 units, higher by 16 percent, over January 2015. Cumulative wholesales for this fiscal were at 847,661 units higher by 7 percent over the last fiscal.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in January 2016 were 36,739 units, higher by 20 percent compared to January 2015. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for this fiscal were higher by 1 percent, over the last fiscal, at 310,224 units.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in January 2016 were at 56,616 units, higher by 14 percent compared to January 2015. Cumulative passenger vehicles wholesales for this fiscal at 537,437 units, was higher by 11 percent over the last fiscal, according to Tata.
Global wholesales of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles in January 2016 were at 11,081 units, lower by 17 percent over January 2015. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were at 110,244 units, higher by 2 percent compared to the last fiscal.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) were 45,535 vehicles (includes CJLR wholesales). Jaguar wholesales for the month were 8,576 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 78,489 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 36,959 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 348,704 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for JLR for the fiscal were 427,193 vehicles.
