The FINANCIAL — During Global Finance's annual awards ceremony held in New York City on November 5, TBC Bank won two global sub-category awards in the Consumer Internet Banking category for Best Integrated Internet Bank Site and Best Bill Payment & Presentment.
Georgian banks have never enjoyed international acknowledgement on this scale. TBC Bank was nominated alongside internationally recognized financial institutions like Citibank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Garanti Bank, and Scotiabank.

The Global Finance Internet Bank Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the world. It has been recognizing leading global banks from throughout the world for more than 14 years.
During the ceremony, the awards were presented to Deputy Director of TBC Bank Retail Business, Vazha Beriashvili.
TBC Bank's Internet and Mobile Bank have been recognized over the years with nine different international awards. Most recently, Global Finance recognized TBC Bank as the Best in Central and Eastern Europe, in the following categories:
· Best Consumer Internet Bank in Georgia (2012, 2013)
· Best Bill Payment & Presentment in Central and Eastern Europe (2013)
· Best Integrated Consumer Internet Bank in Central and Eastern Europe (2012, 2013)
The Internet Bank for legal persons was also successful, and was awarded in two nominations by Global Finance:
· Best Internet Bank for Legal Persons in Georgia (2013)
· Best Integrated Website in Central and Eastern Europe (2013)
Two hundred and fifty banks from throughout the world participated in the awards ceremony held in New York. TBC Bank's Internet Bank was nominated as the best online service in Central and Eastern Europe.
TBC Bank implemented its Internet Bank in 2001, which was a real innovation at the time. In 2012, its updated and improved internet bank was implemented. As a result, number of customers using TBC Bank's Internet Bank has grown exponentially and continues to grow.

TBC Bank updated Internet Bank for Legal Persons in May 2013 after it underwent long term surveys and consultancies.
