The FINANCIAL — Telia Company has agreed with NextGenTel to acquire approximately 38,000 Norwegian mobile B2C-customers.
The agreement with Norwegian telco NextGenTel encompasses the acquisition of slightly more than 34,000 B2C mobile customers and roughly 4,000 B2C mobile broadband customers.
“We are pleased with this agreement and we saw an opportunity when we realized that NextGenTel wanted to prioritize its B2B-segment. We welcome NextGenTel’s customers who are already familiar with our award-winning 4G network,” says Abraham Foss, CEO of Telia Norway.
The transaction is expected to close in early 2018 and is subject to regulatory approvals in Norway, according to Telia Company.
