The FINANCIAL — On August 9, at 21:00 awarding ceremony of the student project “Start Your Career Successfully” took place at the open veranda of the company Tegeta Motors. The ceremony announced the winners in bloggers’ contest “ Auto sport and I” as well.
The company named its favorite and the final winner of the project “Start Your Career Successfully” as well. Eventually the company employed 8 winners instead of 5. The finalists were rewarded by General Director Mr. Giorgi Mshvildadze. The mentioned students will be involved in two-month paid internship in different divisions of Tegeta Motors, they will be employed in Strategic Development Projects and will be joined to the different leading teams of the company within the project. As for the winners in the bloggers’ contest they will be sent to Batumi in order to attend the “Bridgestone Black Sea Cup” grand competition.
The students had opportunity to get better acquainted with one another and share impressions about the project to the company management in the environment specially decorated for them. After the ceremony the winners solemnly cut the cake. The evening was musically designed by a Jazz Band as well as the invited barman hosted the guests with cocktails.
The winners of the project were announced according to several steps: The first step implied accomplishment of the project task, the following steps were focused on detailed processing of the project and individual interviews with the company management.
During a month-long project the students had opportunity to learn the working specificity of the company thoroughly, to show their knowledge, skills and hard working abilities, also to represent their new ideas as well.
Tegeta Motors launched the mentioned special student competition “Start Your Career Successfully” a month ago, which drew the large interest of the society from the first days. In the second stage of the contest at the head office of Tegeta Motors an open day and meeting with top management was held for the authors of the best projects. They had been selected among hundreds of students from different universities. They were given the chance to study the working specificity of the company and share years of successful development experience. The students also visited the company’s central branch and the service center.
