“I’m very happy hosting so important representatives from abroad. Tegeta Motors (a holding company in Georgia) has been established in 1995 with the major direction being automobiles. The company has been growing from year to year and now is already the leader on the Georgian market. In the last 2 years we’ve been opening new service centers of Tegeta Motors equipped with all high tech facilities and devices that best guarantees the quality of our service to be of the highest quality together with our trained professional staff.
Currently we are taking construction works in Poti where new service center will be located and this will be finished in about 2 years. The Tegeta Motors service spot in Poti will serve mini automobiles en masse. We are also adding small vehicle service center on the territory of the head office of Tegeta Motors, which will be completed in one and a half year. Overall investment in both of our projects totals up to $4.5 mln. EBRD is helping us in these efforts.
We have plans ahead too as far as we never get satisfied with the attained results hereby continue to strive for perfection. The strategic plan that Tegeta Motors has for 2011 is to open new service center in Yerevan and in 2012 in Baku. Herein, in the coming years not only Georgians will be using our service but also other distributors in the neighboring countries.
The key aim of our company is to best tailor our products to our clients with our top quality service and products. For this reason we are cooperating with such famous brands like Bridgestone, Japanese company. Bridgestone tires are popular among car racers as well as usual drivers across the world.
With Bridgestone and Mitsubishi Corporation we have 12 years of business cooperation. Until today Tegeta Motors was official dealer of Bridgestone while now we are moving to a new phase of our relations as we attain a higher status for which I thank our distinguished visitors from Bridgestone and Mitsubishi.
Every year in Batumi with the Tegeta Motors initiative we are organizing Bridgestone Black Sea Cup. This year it will be 6th one and now are twice happy that together with our Japanese partners will open this event” said Mr. George Mshvildadze, General Director of Tegeta Motors in Georgia.
Mr. Kazuyki Eguchi has also noted the date to have crucial importance for the future cooperation amid Bridgestone-Mitsubishi and Tegeta Motors in Georgia
“I’m very happy to attend a memorial day at Tegeta Motors Tbilisi office. Bridgestone through Mitsubishi Corporation started a business with Tegeta Motors in 1998. We’ve been working together for 12 years for now.
Last year our business marked $4mln, and we are planning to double this figure for the coming year. Needless to say that Georgia is Bridgestone’s one of the strategically important partner. To have distributorship agreement is of great honor. Tegeta Motors which has 45% market share in the new tire sector in Georgia that’s why this event will be very significant.
By this agreement that I believe that we will further strengthen our partnership and surely increase our sales here in Georgia. Georgian market is very important for our Bridgestone Company therefore we needed a company with whom we could really trust on and have a partnership with. Tegeta Motors in this regard is really of huge importance. In the neighboring countries like Armenia and Azerbaijan we have a business through Mitsubishi but at the moment Georgia is the leader of the market in the region, the most rapidly growing one for Bridgestone, and we have biggest trading with Georgia. In essence we sell tires to Tegeta Motors in Georgia and then Tegeta Motors sells them to others,” told Mr. Kazuyuki Eguchi, General Manager of the Middle East, Africa and Russian Operations, Bridgestone Corporation to The FINANCIAL.
