(via.finchannel) Tegeta Motors holding company signed a memorandum of cooperation with Georgian Technical University (GTU) on 10 March 2011, which envisages taking common efforts in the field of transportation and mechanical engineering – with the final purpose of developing this sphere in Georgia.
Under this memorandum, Tegeta Motors will let several GTU graduates of the relevant field go through 2 week training in the company service centres. In addition those holding Bachelor’s degrees, 3 MBA students of the same field will be allowed to take part in 2 month long trainings.
Tegeta Motors will also fully cover the tuition fee for two successful MBA students with the direction of auto building. Students will also be allowed to run experiments that are necessary for attaining a Ph.D. in these fields; the latter all on company premises.
The company Tegeta Motors envisions that the knowledge that they’ll acquire during trainings will be useful for their future employment in the company.
From the GTU’s side, lecturers will hold seminars for Tegeta Motors’ specialists. Tegeta co-workers will also be allowed to use GTU library resources and take part in various discussions about scientific works in particular fields.
“The project will also be the guarantee for the further development of technical branches; raising awareness and also increasing interest among youth is also part of the project goal,” noted Giorgi Mshvildadze, General Manager of Tegeta Motors.
Tegeta Motors and Insurance Company Partner With New Campaign
The memorandum signed amid insurance company Partner and Tegeta Motors on 9 March aims to bring out new products on the market – for example automobiles to be provided with technical assistance only in Tegeta Motors service centres all across Georgia. It also includes:
Running diagnostics – totally free of charge once a year;
Sales actions on spare car parts;
Insurance company Partner covering all dues within 3 working days after a car accident;
Each insured getting an additional gift – travel insurance.
The product which is the result of collaboration between Tegeta Motors and Partner will be available from 9 March in the company’s offices.
