The FINANCIAL — Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsiashvili provided the participants of the Ambassadorial meeting with the information on the positive tendencies in Georgia’s economy and main directions of its development, the current investment environment, challenges the country faces and future plans as well.
Particular emphasis was put on the need to strengthen economic diplomacy with a view to attracting investments and enhancing the country’s export market through active work of diplomatic representations of Georgia abroad, according to MFA Georgia.
The meeting also focused on the possibilities of full use of trade regimes with different countries and enhancement of these regimes, as well as on the need to promote Georgia internationally as a country of regional transport and energy hub function. The issues of completing significant projects and developing new ones have also discussed.
