As of 30 September 2007 compared with the same period of 2006, the amount of credits released by the branches of commercial banks operating in Achara was increased by GEL 126,8 million (97,7%) and totaled GEL 256,5 million. BLACK SEA PRESS was told it at the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
The amount of credits released in the national currency was increased by 149,2% and totaled GEL 83,8 million.
The amount of credits released in foreign currency was increased by 79,7% and totaled GEL 172,7 million.
The amount of crediting in Achara makes 6,1% in the total amount of banking credits in Georgia. Credit per capita made GEL 646,6 in the region on average.
The amount of short-term credits was increased by 98,9% compared with the same period of the previous year and totaled GEL 74,6 million. The amount of long-term credits was increased twice and totaled GEL 179,6 million. The amount of overdue credits was reduced by 3,7% and totaled GEL 2,3 million.
Credits for the purposes of economic sector of Achara made GEL 57,4 million and GEL 125,9 million in the national and foreign currencies, respectively. Crediting of the trade and services fields totaled GEL 92,9 million.
In the end of September 2007 compared with the same period of 2006, the amount of deposits was increased by 45% and totaled GEL 129,8 million. The index makes 4,7% of the total amount of deposits throughout Georgia. The amount of deposits per capita in Achara makes GEL 336 on average.
The amount of deposits in the national currency makes GEL 52,1 million and of those in foreign currency – GEL 77,7 million.
