The FINANCIAL — The Coca-Cola Company revealed a profit for third quarter that decreased from last year, according to Nasdaq.
The company said its bottom line declined to $2.23 billion, or $0.51 per share. This was lower than $2.35 billion, or $0.53 per share, in last year’s third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.50 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.6% to $11.43 billion. This was down from $11.98 billion last year.
