The FINANCIAL — On 9 February 2016, First Deputy Foreign Minister Davit Zalkaliani met the British Government’s Adviser on Security and Crisis Management Issues Sir Garry Johnson, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on the opening of the National Situation Room under Georgia’s State Security and Crisis Management Council through the support of the British Government.
The sides highly appraised the setting up of the Situation Room, which will considerably assist Georgia in handling crisis situations. They also discussed the process of Georgia’s integration with the European and Euro-Atlantic structures, domestic situation in the country, the ongoing reforms and the situation in the region.
Davit Zalkaliani thanked Sir Garry Johnson for his active involvement in and contribution to the processes taking place in Georgia.
