The FINANCIAL — The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Aleksandre Jejelava held a meeting with the head of the Fullbright program European Bureau – Michaella Iovin.
The meeting was also attended by the US Embassy Cultural Attaché – Damien Wampler, the head of the International Education Center – Nino Chelidze, and the head of the government Administration – Nino Kobakidze. The further memorandum cooperation with Fullbright was signed by the Prime Minister of the International Education Center, thus expanding the Fullbright program.
The sides discussed the successful cooperation within the Fulbright framework, in conjunction with identifying the future needs, according to Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
“A cooperation between the government of Georgia and the United States in the field of education”, signed a memorandum of cooperation on April 15, 2013, which aims at strengthening the research, science and education field, within the scope of the “Fullbright” academic exchange program. Moreover, the memorandum also entails, the sides funding and providing a scholarship for the Georgian Master’s students.
