The FINANCIAL — On 15 September 2015, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Gigi Gigiadze met the students participating in the Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS) project – “Raising Public Awareness and Supporting European Integration Process in Georgia”.
Main talking points included process of Georgia’s integration with the European and Euro-Atlantic structures, progress achieved in this process and future prospects. Gigi Gigiadze informed the students on the reforms carried out by the Government of Georgia, which promoted the enhancement of relations between Georgia and the EU and the rapprochement of our country with the European structures.
The students were also provided with the exhaustive information on the process of Georgia’s joining to NATO, according to MFA Georgia.
Discussions focused on the formats of NATO-Georgia co-operation and Georgia’s involvement in these formats, as well as on the preparations for 2016 NATO Summit in Warsaw, particularly, in terms of Georgia’s expectations for enhancement of the integration process.
The meeting was held in an interactive regime.
