The FINANCIAL — On 4 April 2016, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Jalagania met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Georgia Yuval Fuchs and Head of Middle East Bureau of the Center for Political Research of Israel Amir Weissbrod, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on current issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and prospects for further enhancement of co-operation. The sides spoke about the recent intensification of relations between the two countries, expressed their readiness to deepen the relations, focused on increasing flow of tourists between Georgia and Israel and underlined the need to enhance co-operation between the sectoral agencies and to share each other’ experiences.
Talking points also included the security challenges in our region, Middle East and the world as a whole, which have an impact on the global security environment.
