The FINANCIAL — Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Vakhtang Makharoblishvili met Lithuanian Ambassador-at-Large for Eastern Partnership Jonas Paslauskas.
Discussions focused on priorities of relations between Georgia and the EU, as well as on the progress achieved in terms of Georgia’s political association and economic integration with the EU. In this context, the two sides positively assessed the results of the third session of Georgia-EU Association Council and underlined the importance of granting Georgia visa-free travel with the EU.
Jonas Paslauskas reaffirmed Lithuania’s support for Georgia’s integration with the EU and expressed the readiness to enhance co-operation and to carry out new initiatives in the frames of the Eastern Partnership, according to MFA of Georgia.
