The FINANCIAL — Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Dondua met newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Georgia Desislava Ivanova. Â
Talking points included bilateral relations, co-operation in international organisations and the significance of high-level visits and bilateral political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the both countries. Â Â
Discussions focused on the fact that in 2017-2019 the Embassy of Bulgaria in Georgia will assume the functions of the NATO Contact Point Embassy, according to MFA of Georgia.
Desislava Ivanova focused on the successful conduction of the parliamentary elections on 8 October 2016.
In conclusion, the two sides expressed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial co-operation. The Deputy Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador success in her future activity.
