The FINANCIAL — On 26-27 October 2015, the delegation of the Georgian Foreign Ministry, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister David Dondua, visited the State of Israel, according to MFA of Georgia.
The delegation met Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely and Israeli Foreign Ministry’s Head of Multilateral Affairs Directorate Jeremy Issacharoff.
At the meeting with Tzipi Hotovely, the sides discussed the issues on agenda of Georgian-Israeli bilateral co-operation, underlined the recent intensive bilateral relations in different spheres and expressed the readiness to further enhance these relations particularly in the spheres of trade and investments. The Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister expressed the readiness to share to Georgia the best experience and technological innovations in different spheres. These issues will be further discussed in the frames of the Georgian-Israeli Intergovernmental Joint Economic Commission.
In the frames of the meeting with Jeremy Issacharoff, the two sides exchanged opinions on the important for both countries issues of foreign policy, security and multilateral co-operation.
The Georgian delegation also met His Most Godly Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem. The meeting was organised by the Embassy of Georgia in Israel.
