The Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister had met the representative of the International Committee of Red Cross to Georgia

The FINANCIAL — Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani met Head of Delegation in Georgia of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Biljana Milosevic. Deputy Head of ICRC delegation in Georgia Catherine Patronoff attended the meeting.

Discussions focused on co-operation between Georgia and the ICRC. The Georgian side underlined the ICRC activity, which is carried out by the organisation throughout the whole territory of Georgia, according to MFA of Georgia.

Talking points also included the humanitarian situation in Georgia’s occupied regions and the necessity of active involvement of international organisations, including the ICRC, to these processes.

In conclusion, the two sides agreed to continue consultations on the above-mentioned issues and other problems of bilateral interest. David Zalkaliani thanked Biljana Milosevic for the ICRC activity in Georgia.
