The FINANCIAL — On 10 February 2016, Georgian First Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Georgia Antonio Enrico Bartoli, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on bilateral and multilateral co-operation and prospects for further development of the co-operation; on the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries; and on the maximum use of investment potential.
Talking points also included the security environment in the region, the current situation in the occupied territories and the Geneva International Discussions. David Zalkaliani underlined the importance of Italy’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and welcomed the efforts of the Government of Italy in this direction.
Antonio Enrico Bartoli reaffirmed Italy’s readiness to support Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
