The FINANCIAL — On 14 October 2015, Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Yuval Fuchs, according to MFA of Georgia.
Talking points included bilateral relations between Georgia and Israel, including high level visits due to be held in the nearest future and their agenda. Discussions also focused on the current issues of the sectoral relations. The Foreign Minister and the Ambassador positively assessed the co-operation between their two countries in the spheres of agriculture, tourism and economy, and underlined the increased level of current relations between Georgia and Israel.
In the frames of the visit, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Yuval Fuchs also discussed the issues of security environment in Middle East and the issues of global security as well.
The Georgian Foreign Minister expressed his deep sorrow over the death of three Israeli civilians as a result of a terrorist attack that took place on 13 October, condemned frequent facts of death of innocent people and expressed his hope that the relevant measures will be taken in order to prevent violence and further escalation of the situation.
