The FINANCIAL — On the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met Deputy UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva Kelly Clements, according to MFA of Georgia.
Discussions focused on the role of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in the Geneva International Discussions and its involvement in the activities of the Thematic Group II.
Talking points also included the current situation of IDP’s in Georgia and the Government’s strategy to insure the refugees’ human rights protection, integration and improvement of their social and living conditions.
The two sides also focused on the current situation in the region and on the migration problems because of ongoing armed conflicts.
