The FINANCIAL — On 16 May 2016, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met the Ambassadors of the EU member states accredited to Georgia. Head of the European Union Delegation to Georgia Janos Herman also attended the meeting.
Discussions focused on the issues of bilateral co-operation between Georgia and the European Union and the security environment in the region, according to MFA of Georgia.
Talking points included the priority directions of co-operation between the EU and Georgia. Particular emphasis was put on the importance of the EU members states’ support for implementation of procedures related to visa liberalisation with the EU.
The sides, also, discussed the preparations for the Eastern Partnership Ministerial due to be held on 23 May in Brussels.
