The FINANCIAL — In the frames of the Batumi Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze met Member of Romanian Parliament, President of the European Affairs Committee Ana Birchall.
Mikheil Janelidze focused on the traditional friendly relations between Georgia and Romania. The two sides welcomed the dynamic and fruitful co-operation between the parliaments of the countries. Discussions also focused on the plans for developing the mutual relations, on prospects for multilateral co-operation, on the significance of the Black Sea region and on the need to enhance the economic relations.
Mikheil Janelidze thanked Ana Birchall for the supporting statements in the frames of Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration agenda, according to MFA of Georgia.
Ana Birchall, in turn, reaffirmed Romania’s unequivocal support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
