The FINANCIAL — As part of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Georgian Vice Premier, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
Discussions focused on Georgia-Armenia co-operation. The exchange of bilateral visits was identified as a good opportunity for further deepening bilateral relations, according to MFA of Georgia.
Mikheil Janelidze thanked Serzh Sargsyan for Armenia’s assistance in overcoming the forest fire in Georgia’s Borjomi Gorge.
The sides also discussed prospects for co-operation between Georgia and Armenia within the framework of the international organizations and the challenges facing the region and the international community.
