The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice Premier, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze received the parliamentary delegation of Ireland led by Brendan Smith, Chair of the Foreign Affairs, Trade and Defence Committee.
Janelidze thanked Irish lawmakers for the resolution supporting Georgia back in February, 2017, according to MFA of Georgia.
He said Georgia appreciates Ireland’s support to its European integration, and the country’s commitment to Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Discussing the wide spectrum of cooperation between the two countries, the parties spoke of deepening further cooperation in various fields including healthcare, probation, culture and education.
