The FINANCIAL — On 15 September 2015 Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Charge d’Affaires ad interim of the U.S. to Georgia Nicholas Berliner, according to MFA Georgia.
The sides discussed the ongoing co-operation within the framework of strategic partnership between the two countries focusing on the need to strengthen Georgia-U.S. bilateral relations.
The sides paid particular attention to the issues relating to regional security and economic co-operation, as well as to Georgia’s participation in the 70th session of the UN General Assembly. Special mention was made of the importance of conducting the Silk Road Forum due to take place in Tbilisi, in November 2015.
