The FINANCIAL — Georgian Vice-Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili met Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius, according to MFA of Georgia.
Linas Linkevičius reaffirmed Lithuania’s readiness to proceed with the support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Linas Linkevičius focused on the importance of the Inter-Governmental Economic Commission, the first session of which will be held tomorrow. Particular emphasis was put on the need to develop trade and economic relations between the two countries and to proceed with the implementation of the reforms.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili thanked the Lithuanian counterpart for supporting Georgia’s election as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The two Ministers underlined the particular friendly relations between their countries singling out in this context the opening of the Tbilisi Square today in Vilnius.
